Trust Life A Little More: TAB/ Mooncake Festival/ Cheryl's birthday

More pictures from where I last left off. These last 2 posts will prolly be the last of my September holidays back in SG. 5 more weeks before I return to SG for good and there's this mixed feelings inside me. Will elaborate more prolly in another post?

So.. one random night we've decided to go chill somewhere. & since WB is getting a little boring to us, we've decided to try out TAB. & MY GOD. Eye-opener indeed. I've never been to a Thai pub la and I would have liked it more if the music weren't so loud? & crowd isn't exactly to my liking too.. & the only thing we can drink there is... beer. & Tiger somemore lor?! & we have random and weird aunties coming up to us and dragging us to go dance with them. Quite funny, but sorry uh I actually just wanted to chill and talk to my friends ley. :x

But we headed to Avalon afters b/c Justina heard that Big Bang is heading over there. SIAO LOR! I wasn't even thinking straight and even went crazy with her.. Even if they went, do you really think they'll hang out at the usual dance floor where we usually dance at? We're also not 2NE1 or SNSD lor...

But first time at Avalon, & it was really pretty fun la TBH.

Mooncake Festival with S!

I was pretty bummed and upset that nobody wanted to go carry lanterns with me, even tho someone promised he would. But blamed it on the weather. Zzzzz. I didn't even know it was raining on that day. But, RAIN STOPS WHAT. Lousy excuse.

But I'm glad I have a gf who's so spontaneous and who'd accompany me to do the things I wanna do. Picked her up from Kembangan MRT & we headed to PP to get our lanterns and KOI! & because it's the last day of the mooncake festival, the lantern uncle actually gave all this wooden sticks to some random person and we had to resort to going to the hawker center to get those wooden chopsticks from the fishball noodle uncle lor! So embarrasing...

This girl is dem epic la.. We were walking along ECP and having some HTHT, when suddenly she screamed and said "WHERE'S MY LANTERN?!?!". She only had the chopstick in her hand and the lantern was nowhere to be found?! HAHAHA what an epic moment and as I'm typing this, I'm actually still chuckling to myself la. Things this silly girl do at times..

Cheryl's Birthday Celebration!

Because it was the last week of my holidays, I actually had so much to do on hand and almost didn't have time to bake the cupcakes for her! Did 22 (actually I baked like 45) cupcakes for her and I hope she loved them! It was so much work thanks to the difficulty of all these cupcakes (3/4 of them all had fillings inside and it's such a chore to put fillings into these cupcakes urgh). But the smile on her face made everything worth it. :)

Had dinner at Hog's Breath (Chjimes). The last time I was there when I was in Sec 3....?

Anyway, we took a super long time to meet Cheryl 'cos we were having a hard time choosing a present for her.. And she ended up having to wait for almost an hour for us!!! So sorry my dear girl, & thank you for having such patience towards us!!

She thought that was the end of the celebrations and I'd be driving them home. HOW CAN?!?! Esther will never leave a birthday celebration without a surprise okay! So she got blindfolded while we brought her to somewhere else!

& it kinda became a tradition for us to make a video ever since my birthday, so I made one for Cheryl's birthday! & Esther always likes to exaggerate stuff, so the video was like more than 10 mins long? I had to use 4 songs!!
