Justina's Trip: Day trip to Mornington Peninsular

Sat for my last official exam last Thursday and have been out almost everyday spending time with my friends and having fun! I've been sleeping so much and only waking up past 11AM every morning.

Such is the life of an unemployed. 

Was supposed to go for a swim but the weather decided to go against me.. I can't even head out to get ingredients to bake so I shall just blog about Justina's trip to Melbourne a few weeks back! 

A picture loaded post this shall be, so here goes!

Picked her up from the airport and here's the mandatory self shot in my awesome possum lift. 

Brought her out for Korean BBQ 'cos there was a 50% off all BBQ food on Monday nights! Bet most of you don't know that, so if you're heading down to Melbourne for a holiday and planning to go for some good authentic Korean food, check this restaurant out!

We ordered the ox tongue, and it was so so good. One of the better ones that I've tried. 

& not forgetting the usual marinated beef and chicken.

And headed out to Lygon for ice cream! This is my favourite ice cream parlour EVER!

Must try: Salted caramel, yoghurt with berries, chocolate banana, and my favourite has got to be the ARGENTINE TEA!

Hopped onto the tram to head over to Woolies for some grocery shopping as usual.

& Halloween was nearing at that time, so there were lots of props on sale in the supermarket!

Day 2!

Rented the car to bring Justina out for a day trip cos the weather forecast predicted awesome weather!!!

We woke up as early as 7plus AM?!?

Aunty Esther never fail to appear whenever there's a road trip involved.

Brought her to Hardware to have brunch and they have one of the most awesome hot chocolate there. 

But I stuck to my usual Skinny Lattes though.

Baked eggs with something something and asparagus. It was yummy!

The Hardware Societe

A must go if you're a sucker for hot chocolate like Justina, she even went there on her own with her friends after I brought her there. Yes, it was THIS GOOD!

Then we drove off to Mornington!

Visited the Moonlit Sanctuary over there 'cos we had a bit of time to kill. 

This Justina is dem unglam, she suddenly shouted "OMG I forgot to draw my eyeliner!!"

And she just sat there and started drawing...

& even asked for my help to hold her mirror, LOL!

One of the zookeeper (zookeeper?? Idk what they're called for wildlife sanctuaries) walked past and said, "Making yourself look pretty to meet the Dingoes?"

HAHAA & I burst out laughing.

We had far too much time to kill before we go for the Koala session, so we went around snapping pictures! 

& I even had to instruct her to do this pose, do that action, give that look, relieving my blogshop owner moments!

& to feed the wallabies!

This one had a Joey in it! SO CUTE!

This person, she just took my camera and started snapping and snapping non-stop. & I had to run away from her. We must have looked like a couple having fun chasing each other from afar.

Finally!! Time to see the Koalas, they're so fluffy and cute!

Look at this, sleeping like a boss!

We paid $10 for a ticket and get to go in to pet them and take pictures with them! Bad thing is we cannot carry them, good thing is we can snap as many pictures as we want!

& off to the strawberry farm to try out luck at u-picking! & they were opened for U-pick!!

But the cafe was closed though.. What bad luck. I miss the scones!

Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm

244 Shands Road  Main Ridge VIC 3928 I forgot how much you had to pay.. Probably $8 or something? & you'll get a box that you can fill to the brim with strawberries!

Spotted a really pretty field nearby and we ran over to snap more pictures!

Awww man.. Makes me miss being out in the sun.

& Arthurs Seat, a famous scenic place for photo-taking and what-nots.

This lookout is a MUST GO! Just probably 3 mins drive away from Arthurs Seat?

We were on the way home.. And we spotted this other scenic lookout with this bunch of bushes. Which gave us the idea to do the following:

HAHA like as if we just walked out of a forest and saw some daylight.

TIRED after all the driving, snapping photos and endless talking in the car! We returned at about 6plus PM?

Dragged my couzzie out for dinner along with my friends!

& didn't realize we were in the same color coordinates until I removed my coat. 

& these 2 were wearing the same cardigan, just in different colors haha!

Salted egg yolk soft shell crabs!! I MISS THIS!!

Okay, that;s the end of day 1 & 2 for Justina's trip.

Am heading off to Gold Coast next week, so excited!!!
