Soulmates

You know I've been hearing about the term "soulmate" for the longest time, and I couldn't relate much to it so whenever I hear people calling their friends "soulmates", I'd just simply roll my eyes at them..

Not until I found mine.

It's just like how some people say they've found "The One" in their life, and the feeling just can't be described. It's funny how I met S a year ago in Zouk, and she was just a friend's friend back then. That was the last time I met her until I went back to SG recently for a short holiday. Got the girls to come out for a Ladies' night, and Justina got Sher & Shuyu to come along. & that's when I met S again. We started texting each other random stuff and I thought hey it's really good to know a new friend like that and spending time with new people around me.

Until one day, we've decided to get into some serious HTHT over WA, and that's when we realize that we're so similar. In terms of past relationships, what we think, what we want to do and everything else that you can imagine, we're just so similar. It's like I found myself living in another body. & I tell you, that's one of the best feeling in the world.

I can tell her anything without getting judged. True, I have my best friends around, all the other people who understands me, but not everyone feels me the way she does. When I say something, she'll agree and even say that she did the same stuff before. & the best thing is, she'll encourage me to go after whatever I want to. Sometimes when we share things with people, what's troubling us and all that jazz, we just need a little assurance that we're normal and whatever that we want to do is not absurd. It's just because our life experiences are so similar, coupled with the fact that we have almost the same character and way of thinking, that I seek comfort in our conversations. Whenever I tell her something, it's not as if I need advice, I just need to rant it out. And she'll share with me her exact same experience which makes me feel like "Omg so I'm not the crazy one", and it feels so good to have someone who thinks the same way as you do.

So I'm going to end off with this picture that S sent to me, which is exactly what I'm driving at. A soulmate need not be someone of the opposite sex, nor must it be your best friend or your partner. He/she is just someone that you really could connect with, without saying much and they understand you inside out.

For that, I'm thankful. You're god-sent as well to me, and I'm so grateful that I went back this holiday to find someone that's so similar to me.

Ladies' night with ma lovely girls

I think this is by far the most number of times I've clubbed on a holiday back here in SG, WITHOUT getting drunk or even tipsy at all. I'm now way past the binge-drinking, alcohol abuse state and going home drunk and then nursing a hangover the very next day stage, and I'm so pleased to tell everyone that staying sober is the best way to enjoy a party, despite all my friends not believing what I said. :(

Anyhows, here're pictures from one of the best ladies' nights ever with my girls, and I'm so glad that all of us managed to be closer now despite not even talking to each other much months ago!

Especially you my dear! I truly found my soulmate and really believe in such a thing now.

With my pretty girls, if only the bestf was there as well!!

I asked for more cherries when we got our 3rd mixer, and the very kind waiter filled up the whole jug with cherries! So much that I couldn't even see the base of the jug!! SO HAPPY!

Loving the different expressions here!

& thanks to J for taking these 3 consecutive pics of us two, I quite like them 'cos it's so funny!

Fav group pic!

FYI, we all don't even know who those 3 girls on the left are. They just joined us for a group photo, how spontaneous!

Ending off with a cute photo of V.

Queen's day!

While I was back in SG, I brought my dear Queen out for a day! She's not staying with me so she was really happy to see me and couldn't control herself. & yes, her name is Queenie and she really acts like a queen sometimes!! BTH. Some visuals below to prove to you what I meant.

There she is! Sticking her head out and enjoying the breeze. Don't you think she looks like she's staring in some MTV with her eyes closed and smiling at the same time? HAHA!

Brought her to ECP since that's like the only place that I could think of that's dog friendly. SIGH..

& she just plopped onto the floor cos she cannot take the heat. Both my sister and I were like, what are you doing!!

And this is her when she got back into the car.

Smart right, position herself right in front of the air con. ~.~

Found this dog cafe off Balestier road or something and I brought her there! Thank goodness there wasn't any other patrons around or she'd have gone crazy!

Ordered food for her too!

Yes they have food for both dogs and human, and the food there was reasonably priced and tasted not bad-ish too!

HAHA look at her! She always refuse to take a good photo with anyone else but me.

And.. just look at her eyelashes please, so long and pwetty..

I miss my princess!! Can't wait to be back in 7.5 weeks' time to spend more time with her now that I'll be back for good! :D
