Hwaro

So I was craving for Korean BBQ one day and I called my foodies out for some good korean BBQ!
Have heard a lot about Hwaro, so we made a booking and headed down.

We arrived just a little late and they said that they don't have our table anymore. Usually restaurants will tend to call before they release the table (that's what they get our numbers for anyway isn't it?) but they didn't. So we insisted on having a table and mainly because the waiter wasn't been nice at all. He was so rude!

But all was fine after we got out seats.

I love that they have this pipe to suck up all the smoke and all into the exhaust so that we won't smell THAT bad. You know how sometimes they smoke will get into your vision and all, it's really unpleasant.

Cherry on top of the ice cream is that we've got a cute Korean dude to cook for us! Double brownie points!

I LOVE the ox tongue, beef bulgogi and SCALLOPS! The bill came up to about $40 per pax but I guess it was all worth it. OH & if you happen to head over, do remember to order their pear punch, goes REALLY well with the BBQ food and I'm craving for it now! Can't seem to find it anywhere else in Melbourne! :<

& as usual, deserts!!
B/c I was craving for waffles, especially those pandan green waffles yknow! I especially love the from from Prima Deli (yes I know that's not pandan flavored but it's the nicest around!). OMG give me my waffles now!! :(

But the ones at Passion Flower wasn't that bad either..

& being the gluttons...
We headed to Desert Story and tabao-ed some hot grass jelly and black glutinous rice.

Headed to Q & S's place and because they've just gotten these cute posters, we decided to camwhore just a little bit. HEH.

Really cute aren't they! Have got quite a number of friends asking for them. & I might just bring them back for some photoshoots, or maybe... a giveaway when I'm back?

Till then!

St. Ali

Wow blogger's outlook has changed and I didn't even realize.

Anyhow, some of you might have realized that we haven't been launching for about 2 weeks now. That's because I've decided to first concentrate on my studies at the moment (am taking 2 deadly subjectives: derivatives AND investments together at the same time & it's taking quite a toll on me), so I'll be pushing all collections that I've prepared thus far to June, when I get back to Singapore.

But if you've ordered anything from us within this period of time before I get back, we'll still verify payments and mail out your items as per normal! Just that I really need to get by this semester first. & my brother, who's in charge of packing the parcels, have got his own stash of schoolwork to get over with, and I want him to concentrate on his studies as well.

But I've got quite a few plans for SIX&TWELVE when I formally graduate year end. Quite excited for it, & am hoping to bring something new to you girls!

Okay blogshop aside, here's what I've been up to. Just got over my two mid-sems and one much-dreaded assignment, have got 2 more to go before I sit for my exams and fly back! Meanwhile my sister is heading over next Friday and I absolutely can't wait! There'll be an extra someone to accompany me for walks, head out for hot chocolate and prata when I'm craving for them in the middle of the night.

Some random pictures that I found in my lappie:

Found these vampire gummies in the huge box of gummies that I bought the other day. & we thought they're good props for some photos haha!

Cuzzie recommended me to try this ramen place out 'cos they have those Japanese runny egg! That aside, the soup and all were just pretty normal tasting. I miss my Santouka and Marutama!! :<

& one of my favourite places for brunch!
Totally loving these grafitti walls that we have here in Melb, and thought they'll make such great photo-shoot settings.

The really cute menu!

& the place. Such warm cosy settings. Have I mentioned before how I love sharing tables with the locals?

I love this huge-ass burger that I got for myself! The chicken thigh in it is so juicy and the sauce is TO DIE FOR! I added a portion of scrambled eggs because I cannot do without eggs for brekkie, and they're so perfect: not too cooked, and there's this nice creamy milk taste to it.

& some pictures before we leave!

I also like that they have their own brew and all, and they serve really good coffee that I wouldn't mind traveling to the suburbs again to get the coffee, and of course to try the other dishes they have around.

& how can we not have deserts on such a fine Sunday afternoon? :D

All these just for 3 girls, right after brunch. RUBS TUMMY.
This is where I've been frequenting for my deserts, it's the next best thing I can find to replace my Xu Liu Shan from Hong Kong. I like that they have my favourite AI YU, which isn't sold in any of the bubble tea shops and made me miss KOI a lot!

& at night, it was some Mexican Food for R's belated birthday celebration!
The food from brunch hasn't even been digested and here I am heading out for dinner!

We loved this huge magarita that we've ordered, and how could we not pose for photos with it!

My first time trying Mexican food, and I LOVE IT!

I absolutely have no idea what the names of the dishes are, but if you asked for recommendations, I'm sure they'd give you some pretty decent suggestions.

They have two outlets here, so why not give it a try if you're sick of the usual Japanese or Western food?
