In loving memory of Rocky

I was supposed to be typing on my word doc for Organizational Behavior, but the news I've gotten yesterday struck me hard and I just couldn't concentrate..

My dog, of 11 years, passed away yesterday.

He had this tumor near his stomach for quite a few years now, and he appeared to be really lethargic these few days, not wanting to eat and all. Mom brought him to the vet and realized that the tumor broke (or something along that line), resulting in internal bleeding in this stomach.

Gotta send him to the hospital where they operated on him. Else we'll have to put him to sleep. Operation went well, but poor boy lost a lot of blood. He was 40KG before operation, and 32KG after.

The vet said that if he could eat a little bit more, he would be discharged today. But they got a call at 1AM just this morning to receive bad news, that he's passed on..

Wasn't really prepared for this at all, after the death of my other dog just 2 years ago.

I just received whatsapp message from my sister that, he had been a very strong boy. It was supposed to be tremendous pain for him, but he did not even whine but bore with the pain. It was the same case for my other dog who passed on 2 years ago. She did not even scream or whine or anything but bore with the pain.

People who had never ever had dogs before will never understand how we feel. I grow up with them, spend my everyday with them, and did not expect that the last time I waved goodbye to him was also the last time I can ever stroke him, kiss him and command him to "sit". He's the best guard dog ever, friendliest old boy to be with, and could be really childish at times. He loves bread a lot and never chews his food just because he's too greedy.

I just regretted not spending more time with him all these 11 years as my attention was all on Queenie. & that he never got the chance to play around in his new spot in the new house. Just few more weeks and we can move, and he'll be able to sleep in a bigger, more comfortable place. But I hope he knows that we all love him, will remember him, and will never ever forget him.

Be good when you're up there baby, I miss you dearly.

RIP dear boy, you've been missed. God will take good care of you.

Will try doing outdoor ones! Especially when I get back to Singapore and meet-up with my models! That's be like SO FUN la!

Have been extremely busy for these two weeks, and am finally done with all my assignments and such! Only left with one last law test next Friday before I can finally say HI to my Easter break! Dreading the day where we'll be getting back our assignments though (seems weird how I actually looked forward to getting them back when I was back in poly), and I'm gonna get one back TODAY! Omg need all the luck that I need..

School work aside, we'll be having a small collection this FRIDAY! Yipeeee.

[SIX&TWELVE] Drapey Dress w Mesh Details

Another manufactured piece we have here is this drape dress that comes in 4 colors for you to choose from! We love love the drapes at the lower part of the dress, which allows most sizes to fit into the dress as it isn't body hugging at the hips area. Not forgetting the mesh details at the right shoulder to give a peek-a-boo effect.

Keep this dress for work (esp in navy or black, formal enough!) or for a special date with the boy (absolutely love the white one for it reminds me of bridesmaids!) :)

Dress is lined at the back so no worries about it being sheer! Reason why we only line the back is because there is quite a lot of material at the front and adding another lining will make it look extremely heavy and bulky! :)

On the right we have a furry pink jacket with pearl details that is suitable for you working ladies who are tired of the boring black blazer that's always hanging in the wardrobe! Pair this with your favourite black office wear to kick those Monday blues away!

We've brought on the dress on the left in hot pink before and it was sold out in a jiffy! We have it in white this time round, for you girls who don't really fancy pink. A mundane Monday afternoon, spent facing my laptop in my small cosy room.

Stepping into week 6 of my first semester here in Uni Melb, and all I can say is that I love it here so much, I've even thought about not going back.

But I won't.

Looking forward to Easter very much as my beloved girl and sister will be coming down to spend it with me. Awesome. But before that, I've gotta pull through two more term tests..

It's small things like these that makes me look forward to the end of each week, and that got me passing by each week so quickly.

Had so much fun that night! The clubs over here are definitely better than those in Singapore! It's like, people are there to really party, not to look for preys and all (if you get what I mean). The dance floor is also big enough for us to dance, and not squeeze like papayas with so many other people hunting for preys!

But downside is that they close pretty early. Like at.. 3? So when I was done clubbing, my darling girls over in SG just sort of started? haha! Can't wait for S to head over to melb and we can party together!

& on Friday, went to have brunch with Roy and Grace!

I still remember launching the FIRST collection in Melbourne too 'cos I was on a holiday and was too excited to launch it! I'm so happy to see it grow to what it is now, and we won't be what we are without you girls!

So, I've been thinking of how best to celebrate it and most of my ideas have to be chucked aside simply because I'm now in Melbourne!! And the only way to communicate with my buyers is via the Internet. SIGHHH. I actually want to let some of you girls come for our photoshoot! But I wouldn't be around to thank you girls personally so I guess I'll leave it to... next year? :P
